Cinema Projector + Sound

Hi guys, i think i can help with te whole sound setup, I can grab a PA system from work (will confirm in the next few days) Then if you're running the DVD from a lap top i have the cable that will split the mono signal in to a stereo which can be routed into 2 channels on the desk. Ill have to have a check of the system as it will probably be active, therefore will have to check power requirements to run the amp. Ill keep you posted

yes but can seeny bring the stereo down this game day and i will make sure it will all work

and does the projector have vga input :?:

and we still need a surge protector :shock:

ahh no bother then mate, ill still keep it booked though just incase. In my opinion though, with it been a large open area, a PA system would project alot better, plus it is more reliable to plug in a microphone, and with working in a recording studio i can provide as many mic's as you guys need,

And in my oppinion it need's to much power to run it and kill the gennie which is why i want to use the stereo unless you can supply a very powerfull gennie to run it as well?

Ahh yeah, good point, i diddnt know how much power the gennie would be puttin out so i jus booked 2 powered cabs and a small desk. Well fair do's guys, ill keep it booked just incase... If theres anything else i can do tho, just give me a shout

the desk might come in usfull as i have not worked out if we can mix the mic and audio input's with out one.
what wattage are the power cab's?and the gennie output is 2800watts so the whole thing put together with audio , media and lighting power can't be any higher than that.

ermm... i think off hand the cabs are 2x500w and im not sure on the desk really... Ill double check when i go to work tomorrow :-)
