Hi guys,

I'm total new to this but looking to get kitted up, i'm not vcr registered so i've looked at a few orange guns online and found some here at www.justbbguns.co.uk now the site is pretty cool with video reviews of everything but i have a few worries...

1. why are the guns so cheap? is it because they're orange or just pants?

2. are they competitive guns to be used in skirms and not just back garden stuff?

I'm from Richmond but i now live in Darlington with my girlfriend and I work in Catterick for the local paper, i'm looking to take this on as a regular thing, I'll be at NSC on 25th with my brother if anyone could answer my questions that would be awsome.

It's not because they're two-tone. These guns are the single shot/spring loaded type.

I wouldn't use these in a skirmish. Generally the range of these guns are only about the length of the barrel and because these are spring loaded (not electric/gas) for every shot you fire at muckymick he'll get to fire about 150 back at you.

Hi ollie those are low powered or springer type airsoft toy's and are not really suitable to skirmish with as they have very poor range and low rate of fire.If you are keen to try airsoft we have hire gun's that you could rent ,that way you can see if you really like it before you spend a fair chunk of money on your first aeg(as even the chinese clone gun's are becoming expensive to buy)

these 2 are amonst the better airsoft shop's in the uk and you should find them easy to deal with.
when you attend on the 25th you need to have boot's that cover you ankle if you wish to play and trouser's that you don't mind getting dirty as we can provide camo jacket's and eye protection.

hi there ollie i am totally new to this also and also dont have a ukara number etc yet, it was a little mad trying to find a site that sold decent guns, like muckymick said they are getting expensive i took the gamble as i reckon i will love airsofting so i bought a sidearm from www.airsoftworld.net they delivered it on time etc but are a bit difficult to get hold of on the phone and didnt reply to emails etc which wasnt very helpful! and i also bought my main AEG from www.socomtactical.net although they aint as good a selection as airsoftworld they where great and where amazingly helpful and they will two tone almost anything for you to get started!
