SOLO INTERNATIONAL

Hi Guys,

Whilst on an elongated stay with My Other Half, I passed a shop on the way to Town. It was called Solo International. At first I thought it was just another Surplus/Supply store, on closer inspection it isn't, well not really. There are a lot of bits you'll recognise as the "Norm", but have a closer look and its a wee bit different. SAS Smocks, but in different types of DPM.

And those of you with Fobus holsters.... They have bits and doodads (not the official name but i think it works to get the point across, in my own petespeak tm) that can make them easily mountable to Molle vests, for cross draw etc, and also make it into a drop leg holster!

And how about a really clever rifle sling? This one I got can do almost anything! I think it may be even more versatile and user friendly than our very own Razor? It can do the 2 point Vsling from a molle vest, 3 point harness, with bungee bouncy bits (again, petespeak tm), the SA80 rifle down your back, barrel down your asscrack. Round shoulder sling, SA80 rear loop quick release jobby (yup, petespeak). Its really called a 5 way harness. But it is a very clever piece of kit, and a piece of kit that only the real SAS and a few other select individuals have.

Solo actually design and make stuff that is tried and tested by the SAS, and I think if they are good enough for them they should be good enough for you! And definitely too good for a rock ape like myself or Mr. Nelson . I spent an enjoyable 15-20 minutes in the shop talking with Paul (Boss/designer) and he was certainly knowledgeable. And He doesn't think many Airsofters use his stuff, so you could be well ahead of the fashion pack. Thats about it really.

Oh yeah.... his webby

Have a look, see what you think.
