Okay the summer is fast approaching and that means so is the NSC Summer Special. A great warm up to GZ and the night for our very own NSC Oscars.

Thats right the great and the good will be there in their finest camo, treading the red carpet in the hope of claiming a prestigious NSC Oscar for their toilet.


The Summer Special is on Saturday 4th July and is open to members only.

The Summer Special is a Pistol and Shotty only event, no AEG's allowed
(AEG's are allowed on the sunday as usual though)

The itinerary for the day is as follows:

1 - 3pm Arrival and prep. You will be directed to a parking space if you intend to camp. If you do not intend to stay overnight, please park outside the site.
Please see separate topic for arrivals info.

3 - 6pm Pistol and shotty comp followed by pitsol and shotty woodage. Again no AEG's allowed.

6 - 7/8pm Put the guns away as its time for food. The BBQ will be ready for use and you'll need your own chair, food and Beers. Get a good front row seat.

7/8pm - 9pm THE OSCARS hosted by Razor with special guests.

Post Oscar Party - Loadsa beers and a film or two on the big screen, with the usual NSC fire to warm the evening.

Camping is in the usual places and there may even be a few gazeebos to shelter under should it rain.

SUNDAY is a normal game day.

As a valued member of NSC you are invited to vote in the upcoming Oscars ceremony. Voting is done by email to:

For each category you need to vote a first AND second choice. Most votes wins. Simple.

You cannot vote for yourself. Anyone found vote rigging will seriously annoy Razor...

When voting please state:
Your full name
Your callsign / nickname
Your votes for each category. Please include the category title / number in each case otherwise I can use your votes as I see fit!!

Please note some categories are not a vote or are closed to members.

Please try and include a little blurb about why you are voting for a person or a give an example of something - ' he called a hit in the face from miles away....' type of thing.

The categories are

1) Singles shotty / pistol trophy - Not a vote
2) Doubles shotty / pistol trophy - Not a vote
The last player / players standing recieve a trophy for their diehard performances in the arena.

3) Fastest Feet @NSC trophy - Vote
This is about speed and speed only. Who do you think are the two fastest players @ NSC, who gets to the action first.

4) Funniest Injury trophy - Vote
Its not all seriousness at NSC. We laugh at people when they hurt themselves.

5) Best kit / loadout / mods trophy - Vote
If you looked up 'geardo' in the dictionary who's name would be there as a description? Who do you think has the best kit or has made the best mod to a gun. Any of the above falls into this category.

6) Forum Guru trophy - Do not vote for Mick, Razor or Swampy
Everyone has to get into Airsoft and NSC somehow. For most its through our fourm. Those who are online to offer help and guidance are therefore invaluable to keeping the club going. Jokes, vids, help and advice. Which two people do you think give the most on line?

7) Most Improved trophy - Vote
In the last yearish who do you think has gone from Noob to the Arnie of Airsoft. They need to have shown good improvement in skills to win this one.

8 ) NSC to the Core trophy - Not a vote
This is quite simply about who cannot live without NSC. Whoever has been the most wins. Excludes Marshals and Owners

9) Support Gunner trophy - Vote
Has to use a box mag. Has to empty their load regularly into the faces of.... er sorry has to use the box mag for its purpose, that is stationary support and cover fire.

10) Sniper trophy - Vote
Which sniper do you fear the most.......

11) Assaulter trophy - Vote
AEG, shotty or pistols only in this category. Who is at the front most often, who advances the farthest and makes the most openings in defenses.

12) Sportsmans trophy - Vote
There are people at NSC who are always play straight and feel every hit. They win this one.

13) Team Player Award - Vote
You dont have to vote for someone on your own team. This is about the payers that support, cover, lead or otherwise get a team (or any group of players) going in a game and keep the action going.

14) All rounder 'Chuck Norris' Award - Vote
A combination of the above disciplines. Maybe not the best in one but good at them all. Obviously we dont have a karate award. Chuck would be the best at that.....

15) NSC player of the year Award - Owners vote
Voted for by the Owners committee and no one else.

16) Players Player of the year Award - Vote
This one is for you and is by you, the Members of NSC. The Owners take no part in this one and it is a reflection of who you think deserves the title Player of the Year Award'. It should encompass all of the aspects of airsoft above, and the winner will be the person who you as a club think is what Airsoft should be about.

Players player of the year award will not be winnable or votable by NSC Owners, but marshals can take part (caaw, lux and spider).

Cosing dates for votes is going to be June 7th game day so we have a month to sort everything.
