Thanks to Clone - who found my glove

Postby Ivan on Mon Jul 21, 2008 5:40 pm

Just a quick thank you to Clone who found my Oakley tac glove which I dropped during my visit before last...

After a month on the ground it was the happy home to a family of bugz!

...Still, very pleased to have a matched set again! Ta.

I've just had to apologise elsewhere for my bad memory - especially to do with names! But again ---- Cheers George, it did come back to me about how that actually went down...

To be honest I really though I had seen the last of that glove....I'm just putting it through the washing machine now, causing the genocide of a large group of creepy crawlies!

Anyroads - a big ta gain! :)

Next month I am going to start taking photographs of everyone I talk to - and put them on a big board with names attached! LMAO

heh, my finding skills are pretty good but my holding onto things skill is quite lacking... must learn that pockets retain goodies better than tucking things under vest straps, hmm.

also i seem to have lost my hat.. for the 4th time, lol last place i saw it... tucked under my vest strap. lol

I've actually not done so far...

I thought I would loose loads of stuff - When I played at SYA there was always someone saying that they lost this or that (pistols seemed to be an expensive regular thing to go missing).

I guess the good thing about having a rig instead of relying on pockets is that everything has a place. :)

The perfect place to keep a glove is on your hand.

Ermmm...so that begs the question, how did you lose your glove? Were you fiddling with something (or someone) and your not telling us?

p.s. Just realised your a lot bigger than me, please accept my unconditional surrender

LOL NP - good question...

The Oakley's were the first gloves I bought for airsoft and are full fingered ones. Having played airsoft a few times I soon found that although I appreciated the protection they gave, they made everything very fiddley to operate...

So I found I wore just one (on my left hand, which takes most of the BB hits as it's at the front)....And this is how I lost the other, which - like Clone - I had stuffed behind my rig.

I have solved this problem now by buying a set of half-fingered Viper gloves.

:D

(See how I deftly skated over the 'fiddling' comment! LOL)
