Today work

Postby Merch on Wed Apr 09, 2008 7:07 pm

right today clone Nelson and Myself went over to NSC all day to work on hamburger hill. Good news is its coming along nicely.

as clone mentioned before theres now a roof over part of it, today we managed to get it dug down enough so its easy to get under without bashing your head, as i did, a few times (hence we dug it out) both bunkers are now pretty much built up on each side and the floor is leveled out in them.

we got a firing step inside the main bunker running the length of it, its solid enough for a few game days till we get it sorted permanently.

Clone also came up with the idea of a bridge running over the oposite side between the far bunker and the main one. We got that built today just need to finish off either end with a bit earth so theres not a step just a ramp onto it. its unbelieveably stable aswell.

work on the near bunker is coming along nicely.we are in the process of boxing in the front a little and putting in some firing holes, as we dont have sandbags this is the best option we have. theres no roof over this so the walls are about 3 foot high

hopefully we can get back down again tomorrow to finish it off.

clones got a few fotos to let you all see how its coming along. the rain and hale slowed us down a little at one point but after an hour or so it buggered off for the sunshine again lol

hopefully clone will get photos up tonight for yous

I take it you have keys for the front gate? if you do, you can get in the cabin, and i was told by razor that there is some sand bags there. not sure how many or exactly where but hope this helps. if not i can try and pop over to the site before i go to the hospital and get them out for you.
